L. Lynne Kiesling Associate Professor of Instruction

Lynne Kiesling's research focuses on the relationship between regulation and technological change in infrastructure industries. Her specialization is the electricity industry, and the role that property rights, information, and transaction costs take in shaping changes in the organization and oversight of the industry. She is also Director of the Electricity Policy Program at the Searle Center for Regulation, Law, and Economic Growth at Northwestern University, and is on the academic advisory board of the Institute for Regulatory Law and Economics and the Institute of Economic Affairs (UK).
