Igal Hendel's research interests are in applied microeconomics and industrial organization. Recent work has focused on markets with asymmetric information and the estimation of dynamic consumer behavior. He is on the board of editors of the American Economic Review. Previously, he was a co-editor of the RAND Journal of Economics and an associate editor of the Journal of Industrial Economics.
